Are you a Marvel Fan?  If not, I bet you know the story of Spiderman though.  When Peter Parker’s Uncle Ben found out he was Spiderman, Uncle Ben gave Peter this advice… “With great power comes great responsibility”. And today’s technology, often found in the plan of our hand, in our back pocket, or dropped in a handbag, has given us greater power to advocate, lobby and be part of the movement to stop gender-based violence.  Simply by reposting you can spread the word globally through social media that now is the time to Unite against gender-based violence. Visit this page and use the preformatted graphics for 16 Ways You Can Help End Gender-Based Violence social media campaign. You can share a tweet or a post with hashtag #16days and share personal and immediate actions you plan to take in the next few days to help prevent and address GBV. Lastly, you can simply follow and share the 16 Days campaign posts through Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
